Kiva was born to the Kagon clan, daughter of Ulaan. Kiva was six summers old when she was told her mother died in a raid by another tribe, her staff shattering leaving the young xaela to the tribe to raise. Her mothers lessons, that of the Udgan, are no longer being taught to the girl. Instead she was left sequestered from the rest of the tribe only being mentored on how to defend herself with chakrams until she was eleven or twelve summers old when it was determined that she needed to undergo the rite of passage all xaela take.Her trail would change the young xaela’s life leaving her haunted by failure but also blessing her with someone to talk to and perhaps her first friend. A few years after the successful completion of her rite she would hear rumors of xaela being taken from outsiders and her friend would disappear. Not long after she would begin to have a repeating dream causing her to leave her tribe and the steppes behind.She would travel until she reached Ul’dah where she would become an immortal flame and begin training with the plugairst guild. Over the years she would see many conflicts and skirmishes gaining rank with the flames before one day a decision to join Lapis Luxuries would change the course of her life, reuniting her with her friend, who fate had changed but also she would regain her memories of her mothers death and the truth would weigh heavily upon her along with the lies her tribe had told her.
